At Mission Church, there's no obligation or pressure to give. We simply give as an act of worship.
We believe in the scriptural principle of the tithe — bringing 10 percent of our income to the Lord as a “first fruits” expression of our worship (Exodus 23:19). Additionally, from time to time we respond to special projects and designated needs with freewill offerings (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). Both of these types of giving help us grow as God’s people and reflect authentic spirit-and-truth worship. As Jesus put it, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” In turn, we as a church aim to be a responsible, transparent storehouse (Malachi 3:10) for the stewardship of Jesus’ resources.
